Our History

Periculum Services Group was established in 1999 as an extension of a certificate tracking software project completed in 1998. Periculum's parent company, Management Technology Services, Inc., has been providing risk management technology consulting and solutions to businesses large and small, including Fortune 500 firms, since 1993.

The company is under the leadership of president and founder, David Brown, (MBA, ARM, AAM, MI Licensed Producer) who has held positions with CIGNA and Meijer, Inc. prior to founding the current company in 1993. Periculum devoted 1999 to creating a service infrastructure around its robust software technology, and conducting pilot client implementations. Active marketing efforts for Periculum commenced in mid-2000, and the privately-held firm has grown rapidly since that time with very conservative debt positions and consistent profitability.
